Ornithological information This is an important site for wintering ducks, particularly Marmaronetta angustirostris and Oxyura leucocephala.
Site description An isolated endorreic lagoon with a fluctuating water-level. It is surrounded by Tamarix copses. Part of the lagoon is a gravel-pit.
