Ornithological information Áreade contigüidad entre el chaco y ambientes serranos.
Site description Áreaserrana de pendientes suaves a medias, con alturas que en general no superan los 1.500 m s.n.m. ubicada en el sur de la provincia. Los bosques están dominados por quebracho blanco (Aspidosperma quebracho- blanco), horco quebracho (Schinopsis marginata) y quebracho colorado (Schinopsis lorentzii), acompañados por vegetación transicional de piedemonte, sobre todo en las quebradas, con tipas (Tipuana tipu). El clima es templado cálido, francamente estacional, con precipitaciones estivales.
