Site description A section of the Tagus river with well conserved riverine forests and several reedbeds (Phragmites).

Key Biodiversity This is an important site for breeding and wintering waterbirds and wetland raptors. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (wintering) and Tetrax tetrax (resident).
