Ornithological information This is an important area for cliff-nesting raptors.
Site description A mountainous area with abundant cliffs. There are extensive areas of Pinus forest in the valleys together with grassland and arable crops. The main human activities are forestry and hunting.

Management considerations No serious threats but some disturbance is caused by forestry activities, hunting and visitors. A management plan exists for the Natural Park.
Protection status National Partial International None3,496 ha of IBA covered by Natural Park (Valderejo, 3,496 ha).
