Site description This IBA represents a combination of wetlands, pine forests at sandy soils and tree-less parts of a former military training area. Èeskolipsko was the first area in the Czech Republic colonized by the Common Crane more than 20 years ago.

Protection status There are seven small-scale protected areas within the IBA as well as the Novozámecký a Bøehyòský rybník ponds Ramsar site.
