Ornithological information This is an important area for breeding raptors
Site description A mountainous area in the Sierra Morena. The vegetation comprises Mediterranean scrub, dehesas, Pinus plantations and small areas of cultivation. The main human activities are livestock-farming, game hunting and forestry.

Management considerations Threats include forestry, particularly the use of plantations and dam and road projects. Tourism is a potential threat. A management plan has been officially approved for the Sierra de Andujar Natural Park. Aquila adalberti is monitored.
