Management considerations The main threats are from droughts, abstraction of groundwater and river canalization.
Protection status National None International Low231 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Laguna de Manjavacas, 231 ha). 34 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Laguna de la Vega (o del Pueblo), 34 ha). 1,565 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Humedales de la Mancha, 11,520 ha).
