Ornithological information A small island which holds a large number of colonial nesting birds.

Site description The IBA is located in the Caspian Sea, to the south of the Volga delta.

Conservation response Ornithologists from the Astrakhan reserve carry out a monitoring programme of the breeding bird colonies.
