Ornithological information Only one short survey was carried out in 1996, so available information is incomplete. The IBA has a high diversity of eagles with 4-6 breeding pairs of various species.

Site description An area of forest, along river valleys, surrounded by an agricultural landscape and steppes.

Conservation response Almost unprotected. Only 40 ha of IBAs covered by the "water" Nature Monument "Lake Ilmen".
