Ornithological information Only one short survey was carried out in 1996, so available information is incomplete. The IBA has a high diversity of eagles with 4-6 breeding pairs of various species.

Conservation response Almost unprotected. Only 40 ha of IBAs covered by the "water" Nature Monument "Lake Ilmen".
