Site description Located on the south coast of Java around 17 km west of Jampang Kulon.

Other biodiversity Bos javanicus, Panthera pardus, Sus verrucosus, Hylobates moloch, Presbytis comata, Trachypithecus auratus (Silvius et.al.1996, Nijman 1997). Chelonia mydas, Dermochelys coriacea and Eretmochelys imbricata (Silvius et.al.1996)

Management considerations Animal hunting, forest clearence for agriculture, forest cutting, overfishing, turtle egg collection (MacKinnon et.al. 1982)

Protection status 8127.5 ha of this area is declared as Wildlife Sanctuary based on SK Menteri Pertanian No.523/Kpts/Um/10/1973 on 20 October 1973 (Anon 1997, Anon 1998).
