Ornithological information There is breeding colony of waterbirds in mangrove site which is located around 2 km from the coast line in dense fern of Acrosticum. Air survey on 1-2 September 1988 found:Around 300-400 nestsof 500 Milky Stork Myctera cinerea (including juveniles)30 Lesser Adjutant Leptoptilus javanicus60 Great Egret Egretta alba.

Site description This site is located on the east coast of Sumatra between Tanjung Selokan and Lampung province boundary.
