Site description Located in the north-eastern part of Qiongshan City, 32 km west of Haikou City. The nature reserve lies at the edge of an inter-tidal area that extends for more than 60 km, and it is divided into a core area and a buffer area. The parts of the buffer area that have no mangroves do not belong to the nature reserve.
