Site description Located in the northern part of Guiping City. The IBA is an extension of the Dayao Shan mountains. The ridges have a north-east to south-west orientation, and there are many valleys in the area.

Other biodiversity Nationally protected animals include the endemic Shinisaurus crocodilurus, and Macaca mulatta, Manis pentadactyla and Moschus berezovskii. Important plants include Alsophila spinulosa.
