Site description Located in the northern part of Mengshan County. The topography in the IBA is low mountains, with the highest peak at 1,100 m.

Other biodiversity Important plants include Liriodendron chinense. Animals include Shinisaurus crocodilurus, Manis pentadactyla and Paguma larvata.
Conservation response Established as a county-level nature reserve (1,950 ha) in 1982, mainly for the protection of Shinisaurus crocodilurus.
