Site description Located in the eastern part of Hezhou City. The topography in the IBA is mainly intermediate-height mountains, and it is in the Mengzhu Ling extension of the Nanling mountains.

Conservation response Protected in the provincial-level Huashuichong Water Resource Conservation Nature Reserve. Some 70% of the forest inside the reserve is state-owned and is of conservation value.
