Site description The Min Jiang estuary is located on the south-eastern coast of Fujian Province. The IBA includes the rural parts of Fuzhou City, Minhou County, Changle City and Sandu’ao. The habitats in the IBA include streams, coastal areas, river basins, hillsides and islands. The estuary is a staging area for migratory and wintering birds.
