Site description Located at the confluences of the Huang He, Wei He and Luo He rivers. Following the construction of Sanmenxia Dam, siltation increased greatly in the area, which has resulted in the development of shallow water areas, marshes, beaches and meadows. Many waterbirds winter in the area.
