Site description Located in Hushi, Chishui County, in north-western Guizhou. The IBA has well developed tropical broadleaf evergreen forests. The area has high biodiversity, including a high concentration of nationally protected plants such as Cyathea spinulosa, and the Guizhou endemic Camellia luteoflora.

Key Biodiversity 

Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected plants include Fokienia hodginsii and Alsophila spinulosa. Animals include Neofelis nebulosa, Selenarctos thibetanus, Capricornis sumatraensis, Moschus berezovskii, Manis pentadactyla and Macaca thibetana.
