Site description Located at the north-western edge of Luhuo County. Kasha Hu is a rectangular lake with an area of 109 ha and a maximum depth of 17 m.

Other biodiversity Tsuga longibracteata and Abies sp. occur in the area. Animals include Moschus berezovskii, Moschus sifanicus, Selenarctos thibetanus, Felis lynx and Felis temmincki.

Conservation response Established as a provincial-level nature reserve in 1995.
