Site description Located in the east of Zoigê County. The main habitats are coniferous forest, scrub and grassland, and areas below 3,200 m have largely been converted into agricultural land.

Other biodiversity Nationally protected animals include Panthera pardus, Felis lynx, Felis temmincki, Ailurus fulgens, Cervus unicolor, Cervus elaphus, Moschus berezovskii, Moschus sifanicus, Naemorhedus goral, Ovis ammon and Pseudois nayaur.
Conservation response Babso (Baozuo) Nature Reserve was established at the provincial level in 2003.
