Site description Located in Orqohan Town, in the northern section of the Da Hinggan Ling mountains. There are many small rivers in the area and large areas of marshland.

Conservation response The IBA includes the county-level Xiriteqi Nature Reserve (1,000 ha), which was established in 1986.
