Site description Hortigal se encuentra en el extremo sur del departamento de Lima, en la cordillera de Turpicotay. En la parte suroriental del poblado El Hortigal se encuentran parches de bosque de Polylepis y bosques mixtos de Polylepis-Gynoxis. No se dispone de información sobre proyectos o estudios realizados en la zona.
