Site description También conocida como laguna del Chircal, está ubicada sobre la margen oriental del río Cauca, aproximadamente a 10 km al suroeste de la ciudad de Buga, departamento del Valle del Cauca. Es el humedal de mayor tamaño del sistema Cauca, en su parte alta, y es uno de los sitios más importantes a nivel regional para observar aves, realizar educación ambiental, recreación contemplativa e investigación.
