Ornithological information The site is well known for its wintering geese Anser and breeding waders. Geese from this feeding area roost in the Haringvliet (024).
Site description An expanse of wet grassland overlying a clay polder to the south of the city of Rotterdam.

Management considerations No serious threats are known. The core of the area was recently acquired for conservation as part of a programme of land consolidation.
