Vogelbescherming Nederland

Site description An area of forestry plantations and dry heathland, located between the villages of Nijverdal and Holten. Forest stands consist of deciduous/mixed woodlands and conifer plantations of various ages and under varying management regimes.

Key Biodiversity The site holds the only viable population of Tetrao tetrix in the country.
