Site description A polder of wet grassland, located to the north-east of the city of Amersfoort. The site adjoins Lake Wolderwijd (043) in the east and is close to Lake Eemmeer (045) in the west. This site, together with site 045, formed part of a single, larger site (former site NL033) in the previous pan-European IBA inventory (Grimmett and Jones 1989).
