Site description A coastal lagoon surrounded by dunes, saltpans, saltmarsh, holiday homes and residential areas.

Key Biodiversity The site is important for passage and wintering waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Phalacrocorax pygmeus (1-5 wintering individuals), Branta ruficollis (wintering), Oxyura leucocephala (wintering), Haliaeetus albicilla (wintering), Aquila clanga (wintering).
