Jamaica Environment Trust
This book documents a total of 283 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in the 32  countries and territories of the Caribbean region. These IBAs cover a total of 47,876 km2 including their marine extensions - their combined land area is c.38,612 km2 or 16.5% of the region's land area (233,781 km2). This is higher than for other regions of the world where IBA analyses have been undertaken.
