The development of the BirdLife International Data Zone would not have been possible without the support of a number of different organisations. In particular we would like to acknowledge the long term commitment of the RSPB (BirdLife in the UK) and the Aage V. Jensen Charity Foundation to supporting science and information management within BirdLife.
In addition to the financial support above, a very large number of people have contributed their data and time towards helping the BirdLife Partnership to identify Important Bird Areas, and to monitor sites and species. It is impossible to list everyone involved, especially the thousands of Citizen Scientists who contribute in a wide variety of ways. These men and women, of all ages and backgrounds, are critical in helping move conservation forwards - from fieldwork to data entry, from campaigning to site monitoring. Their support and generosity are highly appreciated by the BirdLife Partnership.
