I agree absolutely, there should not one bio-reservat be destroyed for biofuel. It makes no sense to grow oil-palms in indonesia or somewhere in africa for the european market. Better would be to go into the algae production worldwide. Here in Europe is enough unused space to build up a big industry with algae for example in the south of Spain (in a manmade desert, so no real threat of a bioreservoir). This could even replace the complete production of crude-oil fuels, but as it is with every big business it needs time and money to be invested. Furthermore if the worlds goverments would be serious in this, then they would also consider to legalize the plant Cannabis again.
