I was hoping with the President of LIberia winning a Nobel Peace Prize, that it would translate over to environmental protection as well. It is preserving the highly endangered rainforest of the Guinea coast of Africa, and the biodiversity within it. This includes mammal species such as the pygmy hippo and Jentink's duiker. But the only way it can succeed is through educating the local populous and having sufficient law enforcement to protect these designated areas. Both LIberia and Sierra Leone went through terrible insurrection and rebellion, so they can serve as role models on how places such as these are preserving critically endangered habitats and biodiversity.
