Through this search you can look for information on Birds in Europe. You can find a particular species or group set of species by specifying a number of different criteria. You can select species by either picking a family (listed in taxonomic order), entering free text for a genus, species or common name. For example, to find all gulls, you could enter “*gull” into the common name field (where * is a wild card) or “Larus” into the genus field or select “LARIDAE (Gulls)” from the family field. Search can also be restricted by country or SPEC category. For example, to select all SPEC 2 species, tick the appropriate check box and click search.
