Advocating Change in Europe
One of the key roles that BirdLife plays within Europe is to influence the development and implementation of EU Community policy and legislation, at both national level and across the EU as a whole.
To facilitate this, the BirdLife's EU partners have established a number of groups that are working towards changing and improving a number of specific community policies. These vary from the future of Europe's transport networks, to the impact on the environment of new states joining an enlarged EU.
